Summary of This Position:The Regional Director is responsible for
the successful management and overall direction and control of all
activities within commercial operations of the company for the
assigned region. This includes revenue and profitability growth
plans. The Regional Director ensures the effective forward planning
of commercial activities and works closely with Engineering,
Operations and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of products.
Must be aware of, understand and adjust to market drivers on the
business in his/her specific geographical region.Essential
Functions:
- Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and
objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an
organization
- Oversee regional operations to ensure production efficiency,
quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating
resources and/or revenues for the company
- Approve company operational procedures, policies, and
standards
- Review activity reports and financial statements to determine
progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives
and plans in accordance with current conditions
- Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with
established policies and objectives of the company and
contributions in attaining objectives
- Promote the company through written articles and personal
appearances
- Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee
meetings, and at formal functions
- Promote the company to local, regional, national, and
international constituencies
- Present company report at Stakeholder and Director-level
meetings.
- Direct company planning and policy-making committees.
- This position reports into the Vice President of Global
Renewables and has 9 direct reports
- This role requires up to (30%) travel
(internationally/domestically), including overnight staysRequired
Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- A Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
+ 10 years of prior leadership experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English to
clearly and concisely present to management
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change
management
- Experience in formulating policy, and developing and
implementing new strategies and procedures
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources as well
as analyze and interpret financial data
- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
- Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques
- Ability to identify and secure revenue sources
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and
interact with officials at all levels of government and work
effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse
community
- Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several
projects
- Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver

- Masters degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
- Professional experience in a General Manager, Operations
Manager or Marketing/Sales Director
- Experience with a manufacturing company

Physical Efforts:Work is typically performed in an office setting.
The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of
time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal
conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding
most of the time. 30% travel requirements for this position. The
employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or
feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with
various files and forms and while working on the computer. The
employee is occasionally required to move about the office.
Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor
height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper
wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to
15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer
equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth
perception. Minimum base salary is $164,477 and max is
