STARTING SALARY: $62,926 - $74,030 per year POSITION SUMMARY:?Help champion and manage the organizations community engagement endeavors through both internal advocacy and external relationship-building. Coordinate WellPowers participation in special programming, community events, and presentations. Lead the organizations efforts to expand the provision of education, training, and consultation services to the Denver community and to build revenue through the packaging/sales of these services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:?

  • Leads the organizations Education, Training, and Consultation efforts with support from the Community Relations and Public Policy Team
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for incoming requests for education, training, or consultation services
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication in order to understand and vet requests
  • Coordinates with WellPower staff in order to arrange response to these community needs including consultation fees and invoicing
  • Leads the organizations efforts to package, market, and sell services promoting workplace wellbeing
    • Develop a revenue stream for Education, Training, and Consultation services
    • Serves as a primary point of contact for incoming requests for education, training, or consultation services
    • Works with the Community Engagement Coordinator to maintain and enhance corporate and community relationships
    • Coordinates with WellPower staff in order to arrange response to these community needs including logistics, consultation agreements, fees, and invoicing
    • In conjunction with the Director, leads the organizations community engagement efforts
    • Serves as project manager as needed for community engagement projects including creating project plans, maintaining timelines, and advocating for organizational commitment and input
    • Builds and maintains strong and sustainable partnerships with external organizations and community groups
    • Attends and leads community meetings as necessary
    • Leads organizational efforts to strengthen and expand community partnerships
    • Maintains and strengthens interdepartmental relationships in order to engage and leverage staff connections with community partners
    • Researches and pursues opportunities to partner and engage with the community and external organizations in order to support WellPowers mission to promote community wellbeing
    • Helps move community partnerships forward, looking for ways to make these sustainable and long-lasting with high value for all involved
    • Maintains relationships with external organizations and community members to support robust and meaningful community partnerships
    • Build and maintain clear lines of communication within the organization and on workgroups
    • Prioritizes WellPowers commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all work activities
    • Other duties as assigned EDUCATION:??Bachelors degree required (Communications, Mental Health, Business, Org. Development, or similar?degree within the scope of WellPowers services).? EXPERIENCE:??Experience working within a?mid- to large-sized community-serving organization with outreach, engagement, public relations and/or project coordination duties.?Experience working?with non-profit organizations,?mental health or healthcare?is helpful.?Business development experience preferred. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:?
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • High level of creative and strategic thinking and the ability to motivate others
      • Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills
      • Interpersonal communication with a variety of people
      • Certification in Mental Health First Aid instruction preferred
      • Able to balance priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
      • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people and programs
      • Experience supervising people or teams, preferably in a not-for-profit or behavioral health setting
      • Ability to identify and resolve issues independently, taking initiative in ambiguous circumstances
      • Project management experience
      • Proven public speaking and presentation skills
      • Proficient computer skills or able and willing to learn required technology skills SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:?None MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:?Computers, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and a variety of other office/clerical equipment.? TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:??Sitting, standing, bending and reaching.??Carrying/lifting up?to 40 lbs.?Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.? WORKING CONDITIONS:??May require occasional evening or weekend hours.??Local travel in Denver requiring?driving?- must?have?access to transportation.
