Job Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Product Manager position is responsible for leading and managing the life cycle activities of the company's product portfolio to ensure that residual inventory and obsolescence targets are met.

This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a new long term process for Product Lifecycle Management that includes optimization of processes, procedures and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers defining full product lifecycle including product intake, lifecycle, forecast, space planning and utilization, returns processing and end-of-life
  • Inventory, forecasting and planning capability based on demand
  • Perform inventory analysis for aging inventory and recommend disposition action
  • Move or restructure the organization of current inventory to make space for new stock
  • Negotiate processes and integrations with multiple departments, finding best solutions
  • Perform root causes analysis of business problems, identifying and recommending solution alternatives, development of reports to track key metrics and results
  • Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommend solutions
  • Develop process flows and documentation to support all inventory operations
  • Exercise judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches
  • Recommend or set business strategies or corporate policies and deviate as appropriate
  • Oversee identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs, assigns resources, and communicate expectations to core team members
  • Assist with additional inventory research and reporting as assigned
  • 2-4 years of experience in analyst or inventory management

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's degree or 6 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
    • Broad technical understanding of various Operational systems in this environment
    • Experience with business and project management tools and procedures
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers
    • Experience in mentoring and team building
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels including senior executives
    • Experience with analytical reporting, data analysis, troubleshooting, and making recommendations based off of gathered information
    • Natural curiosity to explore complex problems and offer well-thought out solutions

      SKILLS
      • The ability to present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
      • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, company policies, OSHA and production SOE's
      • Ability to work in a team environment with production operators, supervisors, and managers
      • Will be required to write technical documents and train team members
      • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
        Salary Range

        Compensation: $65,800.00/Year - $94,000.00/Year
