Job Description:

Elevated Third is a growing agency of 40+ creative professionals specializing in complex B2B marketing and technology. We're looking for a creative, strategic leader to spearhead client projects and take our-your-UX team to the next level. As a member of the leadership team, you'll own the UX discipline and guide it towards accomplishing strategic company initiatives. You need to think big and come armed with a vision, and have the experience needed to bring it to life. All the while, you will find yourself surrounded by uncertainty, and people will be looking to you to help navigate the way through it. You'll be empowered to grow and shape the team as the UX landscape (and our agency) evolves. Empathy, drive, and commitment to the team are key, we need someone to believe in.

Responsibilities:

• Onboard new clients and set the strategy with high-level stakeholders, steer architecture and design toward effectiveness. Wide reach with shallow depth.
• Guide UX team on overall approach to projects that emphasizes effectiveness. Set a high bar for others to follow, then teach them how.
• Participate in quarterly leadership planning and translating agency goals into actionable plans for UX.
• Assist Account team in planning projects and be a true client advocate. You will be an escalation point for clients as well, so relationship skills are key.
• Apply research, design thinking and UX processes at a team level
• Develop a generative research and testing practice
• Be a good leader. Hire, fire, grow and teach as needed to accomplish goals. Foster team growth, culture and happiness
• Extravert or introvert, you need to be able to turn it on to inspire clients and teams to get behind ideas.
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of full-time, professional experience in UX/design
  • Experience leading client facing projects from a UX/design perspective
  • Agency experience required
  • 4+ years of professional experience managing teams
  • Strong background in client services
    The salary range for candidates based in Colorado is 110-130k based on experience
