DESCRIPTION: The production planner supports daily manufacturing operations by managing material flow, inventory and production schedules. This role bridges the gap between purchasing, production and shipping to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources. This role is ideal for a detailed-oriented individual who enjoys both shop-floor work and planning/coordination responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Determining material and tooling needs based on engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and plans Issuing materials to productions jobs per work orders and BOMs Maintaining accurate inventory records in ERP system Organizing and maintaining stockroom and production staging areas Performing cycle counts and assist with physical inventories Packaging and preparing finished goods for shipment Planning assembly operations Creating and maintaining production schedules based on demand, capacity and material availability Monitoring material availability, anticipating material shortages and developing plans to resolve them Collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams throughout company Track job progress and updating schedules as priorities change Providing status to continuously inform program schedules Following AS9100/aerospace quality standards and company procedures Ensuring material traceability and documentation accuracy Support audits and quality inspections as required Supporting continuous improvement efforts related to workflow and efficiency MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to think critically in making scheduling decisions Good attentiveness to detail Strong problem solving, organization, and communication skills Ability to obtain and maintain DoD and Special Access Program (SAP) security clearances PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in aerospace and defense industry. Material resource planning experience Competence in Microsoft Office Experience with build documentation and work instructions Experience reading engineering drawings Experience with inventory control, material handling or production planning Experience using ERP systems Ability to work both independently and within a team, in a fast-paced environment SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret or Top Secret / SCI OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Pay Rate: The annual base salary for this position is $38,480.00-76,440.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Maverick RF Solutions considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Full time employees accrue 10 hours of PTO per month; up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive 80 hours for designated and floating holidays. Remote Work: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Maverick RF Solutions facility.
