As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Youre equally comfortable explaining your teams analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Manage a team of technical program managers responsible for cross-functional co-ordination and oversight of data center network and capacity growth projects in a given region to deliver on on-time delivery and cycle time goals. Hire, coach and develop a team of program managers to meet objectives; manage career development and aid in personal growth of a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs). Work with direct reports and partner teams to set and implement short-term and long-term infrastructure delivery strategy for the region, define and develop cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities. Own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams, delivering effective execution at scale within multi-project programs. Drive process development and iterative improvement.
