Job Description:

The focus: Need more of the Load Balancing Design/Architecture + Implementation skillset. So, designing global SLB solutions and implementing them to customers. Team is also doing F5 to A10 migrations. This is an Server Load Balancing "expert" level role.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct meetings with customers to gather application requirements
Design solutions aligned with business best practices and standards
Prepare and follow peer review processes for approvals
Create MOPs/SOPs for implementation following change management
Implement and verify solutions with customer acceptance
Provide tier 3 expert troubleshooting and support



Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with LAN/WAN operations, network protocols, UNIX/Linux (Redhat), VMware or similar hypervisors
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS handshake, and packet analysis using Wireshark
Experience in network security including VPN, DDoS, malware protection, and firewalls
Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and traffic engineering
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences
Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes



F5 Load Balancer Expertise:

Expert-level skills with LTM, GTM (Big IP DNS), AFM, TMOS CLI, iRules, VLAN, self-IP, floating IP configuration



A10 Networks Expertise:

Expert-level skills with ADC platform (virtual servers, nodes, pools), ACOS CLI, AFLEX rules, health monitors, SSL templates, VLAN, and VRRP configuration
