Come be a part of our mission!Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Architect at our Aurora, CO office.What you'll get to do?Designs and develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications. Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.Basic Qualifications:9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 7 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of experience with a PhDWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesDemonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approachesActive DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willing to submit to a polygraphPreferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearanceFamiliarity with space vehicle ground segment designExperience with Agile developmentEffectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customersFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and conceptsExcellent technical writing and team building skillsSalary Range: $123,800 USD - $185,800 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
