seeking motivated Top Secret Cleared Lead Flight Engineers to

Kennedy Space Center, FL; Kent, WA; Las Cruces, NM; Leesburg, VA;
Mountain View, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Sylmar, CA Position
Responsibilities:
- Perform aerodynamic/aerothermodynamics design and analysis of
flight vehicles to ensure that the vehicle meets requirements
- Key contributor to developing new and improving existing
technologies, tools and processes to enhance technology readiness,
improve vehicle performance and reduce cycle time and cost
- Conduct, coordinate and/or develop test requirements to meet
test objectives using established processes
- Assesses the impact of proposed regulations to determine the
effect on cost, performance, producibility, maintainability and
safety
- Support certification and qualification processes of the
aerodynamic/ aero thermal characteristics of flight vehicles
- Assist in training others
- Works under general supervisionThis position is expected to be
100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite
at one of the listed location options.This position requires an
active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship
Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the
past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistryTypical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This
position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility (Basic
relocation is available for internal candidates, based on candidate
