Job Description:

Full-time classroom teacher instruction in English and Spanish as part of our dual-language program. Must be able to teach in both English and Spanish. Plans instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards. Supervises assigned students and maintains a positive learning environment. Adapt instruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students resulting in an increased probability of advancing their achievement. Primary professional efforts are directed toward the development and success of their individual professional goals and specifically towards instructional improvement and the development of expertise in all areas of instruction. Maintain positive inter-personal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members. Bachelor's degree required. Active teacher authorization or license issued by the State of Colorado. Must be “Highly Qualified” according to the Colorado’s definition of a “Highly Qualified” teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act (effective January 1, 2004 for current teachers and 2002-03 for newly hired teachers). Endorsement in the area(s) of teaching assignment preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Bilingual preferred. Current SY23- 24: Hiring Range: $54,500- $98,144 Salary Schedule For all positions, experience is determined by years of work in the same job title. Experience that is similar but not the same job may be calculated at a 3:1 credit for years of experience. Year of Experience shall be whole numbers and not partial years.
