We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team, serving within the school environment. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing physical therapy interventions for students to enhance their physical capabilities and improve their overall educational experience. Our ideal candidate will not only have strong therapeutic and assessment skills but also a heartfelt desire to promote the educational success and well-being of every child. Evaluate students’ gross motor and physical capabilities and develop targeted treatment plans. Implement individual and group therapy sessions according to students' educational needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support. Document students' progress and adapt strategies as needed. Participate in specialized educational plans including IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide expert recommendations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new therapies and techniques in pediatric physical therapy. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards in the provision of physical therapy. Strong expertise in pediatric or school-based physical therapy Ability to design and implement detailed therapeutic interventions Excellent collaboration and communication skills Experience with IEP process and special education guidelines Adaptive learning and flexibility to meet individual student needs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Physical Therapist CPR and First Aid certification preferred Additional certification in pediatric physical therapy is a plus
