Job Description Job Description Job Title: Special Education Teacher – Mild/Moderate Profession: Schools / Education Specialty: Learning Specialist (Mild/Moderate) Shift: Day Shift – 5x7.5 Hours (07:30 – 15:30) Job Duration: 16 Weeks Job Location: Thornton, CO Job Description We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to support students across multiple school sites. This Learning Specialist role is based out of an Educational Support Center (ESC) and provides targeted academic and executive functioning support. The position serves Elementary (K–1) and Middle School (6–8) students, delivering instruction and intervention in Math, Literacy, and Executive Functioning . Key Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and intervention services to students with mild to moderate needs Deliver Math, Literacy, and Executive Functioning support across assigned grade levels Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements Travel between multiple school locations as assigned Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and student progress reviews Requirements Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License – MUST be in hand Endorsement in Special Education (Mild/Moderate) Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
