ABOUT THIS ROLE
Title: Operations & Administrative Coordinator**Title is flexible. This role is a hybrid role to include administrative support, executive assistance work, business research, office coordination, special projects, and more.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a CEO of a successful, growing company and learn the ropes of the business. This is a great opportunity for a go-getter who is young in their career and looking to gain business and operations experience!
The Operations & Administrative Coordinator is the glue that holds it all together, not just for the CEO, but for the Senior Leadership Team and the entire company! Reporting to the Director of Operations, they will be responsible for helping operations run smoothly by acting as a key support function. We're seeking someone who enjoys wearing a lot of hats and working in a fast-paced environment.
What this role is not: Sure, there are administrative duties included in this role, however, this is not a receptionist role or 1950s office coordinator. You (hopefully) won't ever be bored as we strive to always be moving forward, continuously work on new projects or optimize processes, never stop learning, and think of ways to improve our BiggerPockets community and our BiggerPockets team and culture.

***This position requires someone in the office 3-5 days per week. Flexibility is offered for travel and other personal needs, however, this is not a remote position. Our office is located in the Rino neighborhood in Denver, Colorado.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESIn this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks across the organization.
    70%: Assistant to the CEO & Senior Leadership Team
    • Assist the CEO with various research projects related to current and future business opportunities.
    • Manage the CEO's calendar and serve as the gatekeeper to his time to ensure their meetings are essential and productive.
    • Conducting research on behalf of the CEO and ensuring he is prepped for meetings.
    • Schedule travel for the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team as needed.
    • Assisting the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team with tasks such as ordering lunch, getting coffee, scheduling TaskRabbits, and other needs.
    • Helping with presentations for the CEO and Senior Leadership Team meetings.
    • Taking notes during board meetings and other important meetings as needed.
    • Shipping items for the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team such as books, swag, and other items to fans of BiggerPockets.
    • Ad hoc special projects that are driven by the CEO, such as helping to launch and manage an online store with the purpose of charitable giving.
      30%: General administrative, office, and technology support (i.e. Office Management)
      • Running errands such as going to the bank, post office, and more.
      • Miscellaneous items to take the load off our HR Manager, who also currently doubles as our Office Manager, such as making coffee in the morning, helping with errands for Team Events, ordering breakfast for company meetings, and more.
      • Set up and manage office video meeting equipment to ensure hybrid meetings are run efficiently (this is crucial for this role).
      • Broken printer? Low on ink? You're the go-to person to fix this in a pinch! (we're a tech company so our traditional office equipment is really just limited to a printer)
      • Acting as a liaison between facilities-related vendors such as Landlord, Maintenance, Janitorial, and more.
        QUALIFICATION & SKILLSThe ideal candidate for this role:
        • Knows how to get things done. You pride yourself on being resourceful and can handle anything thrown at you.
        • Can manage a calendar like nobody's business and has the foresight to predict things like drive time to and from meetings and lunch breaks, and can quickly react when changes need to be made.
        • Is trustworthy and knows how to handle sensitive information with integrity.
        • Has sound decision-making skills and can make quick decisions as needed. (Have you ever read The Paradox of Choice? If not, it will change your life!)
        • Has outstanding organizational and time management skills.
        • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially as it relates to a fast-paced, booming tech company.
        • Can figure out any technical challenges thrown your way, including but not limited to mastering setting up meeting room equipment, handling little technical issues with Macs and printers, and more.
        • Has worked in an office environment. Having worked at a small tech company or start-up previously is a plus!
        • Work experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role is a plus, but not required.
        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred but not required
        • Bonus points if you're also interested in real estate investing as knowing the lingo can be helpful!
          COMPENSATION The salary range for this job position is $50,000-$70,000 + bonus potential depending on relevant experience, plus a bonus potential based on company and personal performance.
