Surgical Transplant Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS Must-Have:
Experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry Experience caring for patients
with Heparin gtts and PCAs Description: Travel position for a
Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry Surgical Transplant.
Unit consists of 34 beds with a staffing ratio of 1:3-4 for
patients. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN and 2 Patient
Care Technicians, with additional staff based on census. Equipments
available include bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG
machines, and various lifts. Familiarity with EMR systems,
particularly Meditech, is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate
reliability, adaptability, and the ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment. Experience in a stepdown or PCU setting and
with solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, or pancreas) is
advantageous. Responsibilities include wound and drain care,
